2D-Production drawing 3D-Volume model

Even the smallest workpiece begins with an idea and the drawing.

While in former days, people used to work on drawing boards, todays construction has been changed considerably.

The term computer aided design (CAD) specifies a kind of electronic drawing board.

Using CAD-Software one not only creates drawings, but utilizing complex Software it is possible to design three dimensional volume models.

From these volume models, it is possible to call forth two or three dimensional drawings and even moving visualisations of the objects.

Different simulations can be done, applying the volume models. These are e.g. stress simulation (Finite-Element-Method) on components, simulation including the reflection of light, simulation of streams (wind or waves), crash simulation in automobile industry and simulation of different manufacturing processes (e.g. injection moulding).

Volume models can be used for many more purposes such as resistance calculations, generative manufacturing processes and of course for CNC-Production. CAD is part of computer integrated Manufacturing (CIM), where the design is followed up by the production.

We offer manufacturing optimized and function optimized design for your components, where economy stands in the foreground.
